Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I get to Camiguin?

Camiguin is an island off the coast of mainland Northern Mindanao.  It is surrounded by the Bohol Sea.

Option 1 is to fly all the way: Cebu Pacific serves a daily route to Camiguin via Cebu.  We hope Cebu Pacific will reinstate their direct Manila-Camiguin flights soon! Sunlight Air runs direct scheduled flights from Manila to Camiguin.  Please check their website for Camiguin schedule.

Option 2 is to drive and take the boat from mainland Mindanao.  You can fly to Cagayan de Oro (the nearest mainland airport) or if you are from mainland Mindanao, you can just take a car ride to the port to cross to Camiguin via a public ferry or a private chartered speedboat. Please take note that the private speedboat service needs advance reservation. Public Ferry takes about 2 hours to complete the trip from Balingoan ferry port: Public Ferry costs 375 pesos per way. Nouveau Magic Private Speedboat takes approximately 25-30 minutes from Port Nouveau in Kinoguitan.  Nouveau Magic is PhP 20,000 per way, with a capacity of 20 passengers.

2. Is Nouveau expensive?

Our room price starts at P8,888 per night at our Deluxe Mountain View rooms for double occupancy with free breakfast.  Nouveau is priced competitively for the expansive landscape, well-appointed rooms, and massive pool, game room and mini-golf and other amenities available within the resort.  We understand this may not be the best fit for everyone’s vacation expectations. For our accommodation choices, please follow this link.

3. Can we visit Nouveau if we are not check-in guests?

Yes you can!  Nouveau is always open for diners.  There is a minimum consumable of 800 pesos per person for dining. Our restaurant choices and their menus here.

4. Do I need a reservation to eat at the restaurants?

Reservation is not needed but highly encouraged.  Better yet, you can also place your order ahead.  Food is prepared fresh for each order and ordering ahead will cut down on the wait time and preparation time.

5. What if we want to use the pool?

We do have day use passes although this is not offered all the time. Day use rate is currently 1,500 per person, of which 1,200 is consumable in food and beverage. Free one (1) kid 7 yrs old and below when accompanied by paying adult.  Fifty percent off for 2nd child 7 yrs old and below. With the day pass, you can get access to an exclusive space of luxury and comfort. Spend a relaxing day at Nouveau Resort Camiguin from 9am to 9pm with complimentary use of resort facilities.
